Kalkan's beaches and beach clubs are equal to those at Ölü Deniz - and that's the most famous beach in Turkey! By day Kalkan is a ghost town, as everyone deserts her for the nearby beaches and beach clubs.
A dolmus (local bus) from the village centre takes ten minutes and 65p to reach Kaputas Beach, a lovely sandy beach dramatically positioned at the foot of a ravine - though be warned about the many steps!
Patara Beach is slightly further afield, though well worth the thirty minute ride and £2 cost (entrance costs £4 but covers a week). Regularly featured as one of the Mediterranean's most beautiful and undiscovered beaches, Patara is eighteen kilometres of sand without a single building on it.

These are rock gardens cut into the hillside offering sunbathing, swimming, water-sports, restaurant and bar facilities, together with a wonderful ambience in stunning settings.
The Yacht Club is by the harbour, whilst the Likya and Mahal beach clubs are a water taxi ride from the harbour. Kalamar beach club is a taxi ride away from the village, but within walking distance of many of our properties.
The Yali Beach Club is situated on the waters edge below the Kalkan Regency.
